The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, together with the Bucharest University of Economic Studies Students' Union, through the Students' Senate, with the academic support of the Faculty of International Business and Economics, will organize this summer, between August 9 and August 23, 2026, the 20th edition of Bucharest Summer University.
This year’s theme is: “Leaders of Tomorrow in International Business and Economics: Reshaping the Global Economy”.
Bucharest Summer University is a world-class event focused on economic issues, aiming to promote shared academic values among students from around the world and to enhance participants’ perspectives through dialogue and debates with specialists from both academic and business environments. Benefiting from increasing visibility each year, the project attracts a growing number of multinational companies that collaborate with the organizing team to support the development of the next generation of economists.
Participants in Bucharest Summer University are students currently enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD programs from all over the world (the 2025 edition gathered 45 participants from 29 countries across four continents).
Over the years, Bucharest Summer University has been honored to host a wide range of distinguished speakers.
